Economy 10
Economy 10 is meant for households with an electric flow boiler, and it provides 10 hours of half-priced off-peak power each day. The tariff covers all energy usage in your home, therefore all consumption during off-peak hours is billed at the off-peak rate.
Scottish Hydro Electric provides Economy 10 in Scotland. We assist with the transition so that it is a simple and speedy procedure. Switching to Economy 10 takes about 6 weeks from the time Scottish Hydro Electric receives your application. Off Peak is divided into three phases, as shown below:
4:30am to 7:30am
1:00pm to 4:00pm
8:30pm to 00:30 am
Economy 2000
Scottish Power sells Economy 2000, which is designed for electric combi boilers. It works by providing you with 18 hours of low-cost off-peak electricity per day.
